I get money back on my annual statement and yet my advances are increased. How come?

We calculate your advance each time on the basis of your consumption in previous years and the tariffs that apply to you. If you consume less than anticipated, you will receive money back on the statement. In most cases, your new advance amount will then be lower than the old amount.

However, there are situations where the amount is still higher than the previous one. For example, because network tariffs have increased: then your advance amount will also increase.
