How is my monthly advance amount calculated?

The network operator calculates your estimated annual energy consumption based on your past consumption. We multiply this by your rate per kWh and divide the amount by 12. That is the amount of your monthly advance payment.

Estimated annual energy consumption × your rate per kWh consumed

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

12 months

= your monthly advance payment

After your annual statement, we settle the difference between your advance payments and your actual consumption. This means you ultimately pay for the energy you have actually used. Your advance payment amount is automatically recalculated and adjusted after each annual statement.

Are you using less or more energy than expected? If so, you can easily adjust your advance payment amount within certain limits via the MyEnergyVision customer portal.
