Why has my advance amount changed?

After each annual statement, we recalculate the ideal advance amount for you, based on the estimated consumption and your consumption from the previous year.

There are also other reasons why your advance amount may change:

  • You have received your annual statement. Your advance is adjusted based on your actual consumption and current market prices.
  • Your actual consumption has decreased because you take more into account car consumption.
  • You have just moved house. As a result, you may not have an immediate view of your consumption.
  • Miscellaneous costs. Additional charges are added to your bill when you have not paid or have paid late. These are contractual charges.
