When will I receive the welcome discount?

The welcome discount is a one-off discount on the energy cost, the standing charge, the green electricity contribution and CHP for the first year of subscription to the relevant product.

Customer before 1 July 2026 - discount after 1 year: 

• Did you take out your contract before 1 July 2026? If so, the terms and conditions in force at the time of your registration apply.
• You will receive the welcome discount after you have been a customer for 1 year without interruption. We will apply the discount to your annual bill.
• If you opt for monthly billing, you’ll receive the discount on your monthly bill after you’ve been a customer for 1 year.

Customer from 1 July 2026 - discount from the start: 

• Did you sign your contract on or after 1 July 2026? In that case, you’ll receive the welcome discount from the start of your contract.
• The discount is calculated on a pro rata basis per day over the billing period.
• This means you no longer have to wait a full year for your discount.

Product switch

• Are you switching to a different energy product within EnergyVision? In that case, the terms and conditions of the new contract apply.
• Are you entitled to a welcome discount? If so, it will be granted in accordance with the terms and conditions in force at the time of the product switch.
• If you switch to a different product after 1 July 2026, you’ll receive your discount on a pro rata basis and won’t have to wait a full year.
