How is my consumption price calculated?

The consumption price generally follows a formula such as:

A + (B × market price)

where:

  • A = fixed supplier margin/component;
  • B = conversion factor;
  • market price = EPEX Spot price for the relevant hour or quarter-hour.

In addition, you pay a subscription fee (fixed annual charge).

Each supplier uses its own parameters.
