When is my roof not suitable for solar panels?

In more than 70% of the people who register, we can install solar panels. But sometimes, unfortunately, we do not succeed in placing solar panels on a roof.

For example, we never place solar panels if your roof consists of slates that are asbestos- or damage-prone. Or if you have a flat roof that is inclined for more than 5° (or a pitched roof that is inclined for more than 50°).

We also cannot install solar panels if there is insufficient free roof area or if, for example, your chimney, surrounding trees or elements on your neighbour's house cause shade on your roof.

Finally, we cannot install solar panels if there are already solar panels on your roof: this is too complex to process injection data and would only put you at a disadvantage.

If your roof is not suitable, we will of course inform you.
