Yes, it is important to inform your insurer, e.g. with a copy of the signed agreement. Because we own the installation and pay insurance for it, in principle your insurance premium will not be increased (however, we cannot guarantee this, so be sure to check your policy or ask your insurer in advance). But even if your insurer does not charge you, they should be aware that you have solar panels on your roof. That way, your insurance file stays completely in order. So be sure to let them know!
